Terms of Reference
Purpose
The purpose of the IIS Working Party is to provide solutions about increasing Indigenous participation in all aspects of College life, particularly in student recruitment and retention and as part of the University’s response to the Reconciliation Action Plan. The IIS Working Party ensures that the College meets the goals and timelines set out in the Reconciliation Action Plan and that, where appropriate, College strategy is aligned with the Plan, including working towards making the College culturally safe for Indigenous students and staff and enhancing the descriptive and substantive representation of Indigenous students and staff within the work and cultural life of the College.
