Below are FAQs and answers relating to facilities, places and spaces at Flinders University. Staff will need to submit most requests for support through Service One.
Where can I/my visitors park? Where can I charge my EV?
For parking locations, terms and conditions, time limits and options for staff, students, visitors and EV parking/charging, visit the Parking on campus web page. For real-time availability of parking bays within each car park, visit Car Park Availability.
Do I need to pay for parking at Bedford Park (and EV charging if/as required)?
Yes you must pay for parking when parked on Bedford Park campus from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Refer to our Parking on campus web page for more information.
Where can I park at Tonsley and do I need a permit?
For staff or students parking at Tonsley car park 2, you will need to apply for an annual Tonsley vPermit. Tonsley vPermits are currently free of charge. If you already have an existing Bedford Park vPermit, no further action is required. If Flinders car park 2 is unavailable, please park in car park 4 on the western side of MAB.

Where can I park near Flinders City Campus?
There are several public car parking options nearby including Wilson's at Festival Plaza, and Adelaide Convention Centre. Flinders City Campus is located next to the Adelaide Railway Station and the Flinders train connects with Tonsley and Bedford Park campuses. There are many public transport options located nearby included buses and trams.

How do I request caretaking assistance (Bedford Park, Tonsley and City Campus)?
Caretakers can provide you assistance with moving equipment/furniture from/to other areas of the University (excluding rural and remote locations).
Log a ‘Caretaking assistance’ request in Service One. Find ‘Caretaking assistance’ under Facility Services.
Please provide as much notice as possible for your request to be fulfilled to allow Caretakers to schedule the change. For last minute updates, please call the customer service team and quote the reference number.

I have locked myself out/my access card isn't working.
if you're at Bedford Park, Tonsley or Flinders City Campus, please call Security on 8201 2880, 24/7. If you’re at the Bedford Park campus, but you don’t have a phone, go to Security on the northern side of the Plaza.
Staff and students should always carry their ID cards while on University premises as they may be required as a means of identification.
How do I request card access or keys to a work area or building?
Submit a ‘Building or room access’ request via Service One. You will find ‘Building or room access’ under Facility Services. When you submit a request, you will have visibility over the progress.
I have a key I no longer need. What do I do?
If you’re at Bedford Park, return all room keys to Security on the northern side of the Plaza. Please leave keys in filing cabinets, tambours, cupboards or other lockable furniture that you no longer use.
If you’re at Tonsley, Flinders City Campus or elsewhere, call Security on 8201 2880.

How do I book a desk or room for teaching or meetings at Bedford Park, Tonsley or City Campus?
Staff can book desks and rooms via Resource Booker. You will find Resource Booker in the Staff web portal, under Workplace Support > Everyday needs. You will find the instructions for using Resource Booker here.
Some colleges have hot desks and rooms with specialist equipment which are not in Resource Booker. Speak to your college operations team for assistance with booking these desks and rooms. Once your booking is made, the booking will also appear in the room’s outlook calendar.

How do I book a room for an event/function at Bedford Park, Tonsley or Flinders City Campus?
Staff can book event/function spaces via Resource Booker. You will find Resource Booker in the Staff web portal, under Workplace Support > Everyday needs. You will find the instructions for using Resource Booker here.
How do I get caretaking support for my event?
Caretakers can assist with event set-up. Please log a ‘Caretaking assistance’ request in Service One. Find ‘Caretaking assistance’ under Facility Services.
Cleaners can assist with pre-event cleaning. Please submit a ‘Cleaning’ request via Service One. You will find ‘Cleaning’ under Facility Services.
