InPlace

Workplace support Digital services InPlace

InPlace Placement Management System is an externally hosted application that Flinders uses to manage WIL or 'placements'.

It is a requirement of some Flinders' topics that a specified number of hours or days of work integrated learning (WIL) be completed in order to pass the topic.

InPlace is used by University staff to:

  • request placements from organisations
  • manage the responses to requests for placements
  • allocate students to placements
  • notify students of placements
  • coordinate and manage other placement related processes.

Students enrolled in topics involving placements managed through InPlace, access the system to view and manage their placements.
