At Flinders WIL is delivered in partnership between Colleges and the Graduate Career Readiness portfolio, with distinct but connected roles:
- At a university level, the Director, Graduate Career Readiness works in partnership with College leadership to shape the strategic direction of WIL in all its forms. This includes developing quality frameworks, policy, partnerships and innovative placement models that support high‑quality, consistent and scalable real‑world learning across the University.
- At a College level, Managers, Graduate Career Readiness work closely with academic leaders to embed WIL within courses. They provide strategic support aligned to discipline priorities, ensuring WIL is integrated into curriculum design, with support appropriate operational support structures.
- College embedded WIL Support teams focus specifically on the delivery of placement-based WIL. They coordinate placement processes, support students, and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure high‑quality and compliant experiences.
