ResearchNow application form

The form covers the following areas:

• FTE and workload commitments
• Research income attribution
• The total amount of funding and the amount of funding coming to Flinders University
• Infrastructure levy exemptions
• The need for additional space, equipment and new staff

The form is also used to capture and record the following:

• Fields of Research and Socio-Economic Objectives used for government reporting and University research statistics and performance processes.
• The percentage of your project that is defined as research.
• A declaration by the Chief Investigator or Flinders lead certifying their agreement, and that of all other listed researchers, to adhere to the funder terms and conditions, the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research, ensure all regulatory approvals and permits have been obtained, including Working with Children and Police Check, and all related University research policies.

All researchers or affiliates (with full academic status) seeking external grant funding are required to submit a ResearchNow application form to their College for checking by their local Research Development and Support (RDS) staff, which will be either approved or rejected by the Dean of Research.

The ResearchNow application form can be accessed on the ResearchNow app via OKTA.
