Flinders University enjoys a well-justified reputation for its excellence in teaching and research. It has a long-standing commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for all and a proud record of community engagement.

Since being established in 1966, Flinders has achieved much of which we can be very proud — in innovative research, in high quality teaching and in community engagement.

Last year, we provided educational opportunities to over 25,000 students and had over 2,500 staff members.

We offer undergraduate, honours, postgraduate and research higher degrees in six colleges.

Flinders University’s Chief Executive Officer is the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor is supported by a senior executive team comprising Deputy and Pro Vice-Chancellors, Vice-Presidents and Executive Deans.

The University Council is the governing body of the University.  It is chaired by the Chancellor and has 21 members, the majority of whom are external to the University.
