The University caretakers are responsible for:
- General moves
- moving furniture
- packed articles around the University
- room reconfiguration
- boxes or equipment relocation
- clearing vacated office
The moving of furniture and large items around the campus should be booked in advance as tasks are prioritised as they arrive, to suit arranged schedules.

- Non-scheduled cleaning assistance
- cleaning - including minor spillage
- clearing rubbish
- Assistance with operable walls at Bedford campus
- Waste disposal
