Bedford Park campus has a wide range of venues and facilities available for booking by students and staff. We welcome booking enquires from College or FUSA sponsored business partners. Please note during peak semester times availability may be restricted.
We also have conference accommodation available on campus during the University summer holiday (December to February).
Plaza and Student Hub venues

The Alere Function Centre provides a uniquely adaptable space, suitable to hosting corporate and collaborative events such as workshops, training sessions, conferences, seminars and cocktail evenings.
Wildernest boasts spectacular 180-degree views overlooking Flinders beautiful landscape and coastline, creating a unique setting for students, staff and visitors. Enjoy breakfast from 8am, lunch from 11am or afternoon snacks. The menu focuses on healthy eating and great taste - and includes coffee, wine, beer and soft drink.
The Studio is a multipurpose, flexible space with the ability to cater for over 150 people. With the venue’s central location in the heart of Bedford Park capitalising on existing high levels of foot traffic, and the optional extension of the multipurpose rooms into one room, The Studio allows you to create a truly polished occasion.
At the heart of Bedford Park campus, the Plaza is the ultimate outdoor setting with unrivaled flexibility for grand events.
The size and scale of the Plaza, surrounded by the sweeping natural landscape makes it the perfect choice for medium to large scale community events. The Plaza has multi-mode capabilities including outdoor cinema, 2,000 seat auditorium and market place, allowing you to tailor the setting to the unique needs of your event.
With the ability to connect to state-of-the-art AV equipment presentations and performances are ensured a seamless delivery.
With striking views of the Adelaide city skyline, the Terrace is a unique open air venue.
The Terrace presents a view to impress immediately upon arrival. Looking out over the Adelaide skyline with panoramic views of the city and sea, guests can enjoy open spaces and communal social spaces. Barbeque facilities make catering easy.
The Tavern
The Tavern’s bar is stocked with local favourites, an open balcony and art from renowned Adelaide street artist Vans the Omega. The Flinders Tavern has the best bar munchies going around.
Lecture theatres
Lecture theatres at Flinders University are available for hire outside teaching hours. The lecture theatres have fixed seating for up to 250 people.
The theatres also have the following facilities:

- computer
- data projector*
- disability access
- network facilities*
- slide projector
- VHS player*.

Sport and fitness facilities hire
We have a number of indoor and outdoor sport facilities for hire including the sports hall, squash courts, outdoor ovals, and tennis courts.
Flinders Living venues
Flinders Living is ideal for your next conference, workshop, meeting or social event. Facilities are on Flinders University grounds with magnificent views over the city and coast.
Whether your requirement is a private booking for all accommodation and facilities or for a small meeting room for your next business meeting, we can look after groups from 5 - 200 delegates. (Note: bookings for accommodation and/or large events can only be accepted during December and February each year).
