Through events sponsored by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) researchers are able to hear the latest research news and developments across Flinders and beyond.
The Flinders Research World Café provides an opportunity for Flinders' researchers to discuss topical research issues with their colleagues and research leadership. These discussions then inform future decisions made by research leadership.
Hosted by Flinders' Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Professor Robert Saint, the Early Career Researcher Forum provides an opportunity for our early career researcher (ECR) community (0-8 years post-PhD conferral) to come together to hear from the DVC(R) and key representatives about developments in the research landscape at the University and beyond that are relevant to researchers early in their career at Flinders. Attendees are also invited to ask questions and initiate discussions on any aspect of their research career at Flinders.
Run twice a year, these fora also act as a platform to facilitate ECR networking and have resulted in the development of many cross-discipline conversations and partnerships.
