Flinders University operates within a matrix structure that promotes collaboration and shared expertise across colleges and central divisions. In this model, specialist professional services teams (such as Finance, People and Culture, Information and Digital Services, Marketing and Communications, Research Support, and Education Services) work across the College’s academic units, research centres, and clinical partnerships. Some teams have staff embedded directly within the College as well as a central team, while others operate entirely from a central location. This ensures CMPH staff receive consistent, high-quality support alongside strong local knowledge and relationships.
