Flinders is committed to delivering sustainable transport services. Pool vehicles are available for business use by staff.
For students, voluntary workers, consultants and visiting academics, written approval is required from the Director of College (or relevant Director) prior to booking.

Bookings can be made via Service One. Bookings can be made via Service One, if you intend to travel over 250kms, please make note in your booking and we will ensure we provide a vehicle to match your needs.
The use of a four-wheel drive vehicle for field trips and for off road or overnight use may require a risk management plan to be provided to the relevant line manager before the vehicle booking is accepted.
Vehicle bookings are subject to availability and every endeavour will be made to ensure the vehicles are matched to your need. Please note, operational data is collected from the vehicles (such as distance travelled) to help us ensure our fleet continues to meet the University’s requirements.
All vehicle pick ups and returns are to be made from the following locations:
Bedford Park
Collect keys from the service counter located in the Maintenance Operations Building, Physical Sciences Road, car park 9.
Assistance to car park 9 is available via our campus bus service.
Sturt
Sturt North Wing storeroom entrance.
Key box located at the mail drop-off point. You’ll be provided the lock box code upon booking.
Tonsley
Key box located on the ground floor by the Customer Service desk. You'll be provided the lock box code upon booking.
For after hours collections and returns, please contact us on 8201 2733.
Roadside assistance details can be found on a sticker placed inside the vehicle windscreen.
Fuel purchases are made via the fuel card provided in the logbook pack issued with the keys at the time of collection. No pin code is required, please ensure the odometer reading is entered.

If the fuel card provided can not be used to pay for fuel, any fuel expenses borne by the driver can be claimed back via the staff expenses reimbursement process.
All accidents and damage must be reported upon return of vehicle.
