Graduation ceremonies are a collective celebration of our students' achievements and the staff who support them. Whether you're participating in the Academic Procession, attending as a guest, inviting a VIP, or assisting with ceremony delivery, the Graduation Staff Portal will be your central hub for all graduation-related requests and information.

If you wish to participate in the academic procession, Graduation Services can assist with academic dress if you do not have your own. Alternatively you are also able to purchase academic dress.
The university will provide a gown, hood and mortarboard in specific degree colours (subject to availability) to all graduates of Flinders University, free of charge.
Please note, academic dress for postgraduate degrees, particularly doctorates, is limited and students will be given preference for hire, therefore we cannot guarantee availability of these. We can offer a plain black gown and mortarboard if your degree colours are unavailable.
Academic dress must be collected and returned on the same day as the ceremony.
The university will provide the Flinders equivalent gown, hood and mortarboard or bonnet if you are a graduate from another university.
If you want to wear degree colours from your university and do not have your own academic dress, we encourage you to contact them to arrange hire or purchase.

Attending a graduation ceremony as a guest? Staff guest ticket requests can be submitted through the Graduation Staff Portal.
Please ensure your request is lodged before the relevant ceremony date. Entry to the Graduation Hall is subject to ticket availability and confirmation.
If you are participating in the Academic Procession, a guest ticket is not required.
