Congratulations on your appointment with the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University. On behalf of the College Executive Leadership Team and all staff, welcome!
You have joined the University and the College at a time of great change in both the higher education sector and in health and social care sectors, respectively. This is a challenging reality that all organizations are facing. Our College five-year strategic plan is about helping us face this reality with ambition, boldness and courage. We will achieve our goals through the pursuit of excellence in our teaching, learning, research, and service to communities.
As a College and a University, we are imagining a future where the highest standard of health and care is available for all who need it and we are leading a reform agenda where ‘care’ is the focus for aged and disability care sectors, as well as all our healthcare settings. We are delighted that you are now part of this vision, and we look forward to enabling you to achieve your personal goals and ambitions, and at the same time serve your profession, university, and wider community.
There are many things for you as a new staff member to get to know at Flinders - from navigating the campus, to parking, and performing your workplace tasks.
