The Horizon Award is an award program unique to Flinders University, which fosters the importance of developing professional skills alongside academic studies and rewards these activities with formal recognition.
The Horizon Award workshops are a series of workshops and seminars focusing on workplace employability skills. They are designed to further develop students' abilities and place an emphasis on the practical skills necessary in the workplace.
Our online employment portal, Flinders CareerHub, connects all students with current job postings and employment opportunities. Students receive personalised job notifications, based on their preferences, and easily gain access to all employment activities and events.
We can support your students through providing course pathways advice. Refer students to our range of workshops, resources, career chats, employer webinars, or contact us for more information. We help students explore career options and identify actions to achieve a job which aligns with their skills, values and interests.
