Administer a claim / disclaim request

Overview

This guide applies to administrators who are responsible for processing a claim or disclaim request of authorship from a researcher. 

Process

Steps

1. Login to Research Now

2. Review your Notification list (in the right hand menu). Look for any notifications of research outputs where contributors have requested they be added or removed from a research output and the number of requests. 

3. If any have been flagged for action, select the link on the notification to enter the output. A pop-up window appears.

4. Review the comment that the contributor has made regarding the request (if comment has been made) 

5. Add or remove the contributor as per the request

6. A notification will be sent to the researcher to advise them that they have been added or removed. This will be delivered via email or a notification in the system.  

7. Select Save
