Flinders University conducts research through a number of Centres and Institutes. Click here for more information.
Many of these high performing Centres and Institutes are supported by Research Development and Support (RDS) team members.
RDS staff are embedded in Flinders University Centres and Institutes to provide specialised research support and enable a focussed understanding of the Centre/Institute. These valued first point of contact staff liaise between the Centre/Institute, the College(s) from which they draw researchers as members, and RDS teams. Critical for building relationships with researchers and industry partners, Centre/Institute staff identify and pursue investment opportunities and work closely with the Centre/Institute leadership. Staff are integral in the running of their Centre/Institute and prepare annual reports, conferences, external engagement and research promotion.
