The PRD Framework for Academic Staff provides the basis for the supervisor and Academic to work together in assessing and developing performance objectives including:
- assist staff to develop academically and professionally and clarify performance expectations;
- assist the supervisor and academic to jointly plan the work required to achieve desired goals; and
- assist supervisors in monitoring and assessing an academic staff member’s performance and development goals.
The academic PRD process is comprised of one review stage that seeks to review and evaluate performance over the previous 12 months and set expectations and performance goals for the following 12 months.
