About the project
The Grants Lifecycle Management project is designed make it easy for researchers, and in particular Chief Investigators, to manage financial aspects of their research grants. The solution will provide a system that automates manual processes. Researchers and financial managers will have access to high-quality data at their fingertips, allowing them to assess project progress through work milestones, financial metrics, and compliance with contractual agreements.
The increased simplicity, reliability, and data quality of the solution will:
- allow the unification of financial and non-financial grants information into one consolidated view
- reduce researcher time spent in managing grants
- ease financial reporting, and
- facilitate revenue reporting compliance with new requirements for HERDC and accounting (AASB15).
